EY is one of the largest professional services firms in the world and is one of the “Big Four” accounting firms.
My work with the Alpharetta Assurance UX team was in support of the Audit Transformation Program. Our focus was enterprise software design including diagnostic tools and data analytics. A summary of key projects and select images are below.
EY Helix
Built to scale to meet the needs of all of EY clients, EY Helix is an integral element of our audits. It is our global analytics platform, which includes a suite of data capture and analytics tools that dramatically increase not only the depth and breadth of captured data, but also the value of insight derived from it. Leading sprint 0 design efforts, I worked closely with SME’s, Practitioners, Business partners, Data scientists and Development teams to define, and align expectations and visualize the solution.
Starting with user stories and personas to inform the design approach, I created sketches of possible solutions and socialized with the team. Following revisions, I generated wireframes and prototypes as needed.
EY General Ledger Analyzer
As a Helix Analyzer, the GL Anaylzer examines and analyzes general ledger (GL) journals of any data size to enhance audit planning and scoping, understanding of the business and audit performance.
Helix Admin Tool
The Admin tool allows system administrators to monitor and maintain the back end of Helix and also manually configure elements of the data enrichment process.
